How to sell your items

We accept items all year round.

Summer clothes March to August and Winter clothes August to March (depending on weather).

We accept, from each account holder, up to one bag (max size 40 x 40 x 25cm) of clothes or toys or a combination of both per week. Occasionally it may be necessary for us to stop taking items due to shortage of space.

Opening an account couldn’t be easier – all we ask is for you to fill in a new customer form when you bring in your items and we’ll do the rest.

Clothing MUST be in good freshly washed and ironed condition, no stains and with all zips and buttons working. Toys, games and puzzles MUST be in good condition with all pieces and working batteries if needed. Larger items must be in good clean working condition with all attachments and fittings.

Clothing and small toys and equipment will be displayed for a minimum of eight weeks, after this period any unsold items will be forwarded to our chosen charity. Larger items such as buggies, cots, highchairs, bikes, etc, will be displayed until sold or there is no customer interest after a reasonable period (if the latter customers will be contacted and requested to collect their items).

All items must be owned by the person submitted them for re-sale or are being sold with the owner’s consent.

Monies owing to account holders can be used to purchase items in Kidz Kupboard or can be paid via bank transfer.

We do not take car seats or anything electrical as we cannot guarantee the safety of these items.

Commission Rate and Charities Used

Our commission rate is 60% to the shop and 40% to the account holder.

We support local children’s charities (EACH, Barnardo’s and The Children’s Society) and our local school and children’s centre
